一套關於人生、戰爭、電影的電影。

剛看完 Christopher Nolan 的 Dunkirk，很有興趣看看這個跟 Dunkirk 有些關係的電影。

二戰時期，英國官方希望拍出一套取材自真人真事、振奮人心的電影，以提升當時全民的士氣。女主角被聘為電影的編劇之一，跟本為編劇的男主角合作。男主角派女主角去採訪一對曾於 Dunkirk 拯救行動中主動開船往 Dunkirk 救人的孖女，希望以此事為電影的主題。

電影平實得來卻讓我很投入。雖然沒有血淋淋的戰爭場面，卻讓觀衆從受戰火影響的普通人的角度感受戰爭。男女主角及其他電影工作人員一直在最壞的情況中制作這電影 ── 有不斷加插要求的「老闆」，有難以服侍的過氣老牌影星，有不懂演戲的軍人演員，有隨時被空襲的可能…… 人生不就是這樣不能預知嗎？所以很多人喜歡電影，因為如男主角所講:

"Why do you think that people like films? It’s because stories are structured; have a shape, a purpose, a meaning; and when things gone bad they’re still a part of a plan; there’s a point to them. Unlike life."

在最壞的時候，我們不知道，這，是不是真的只是 a part of a plan，但我們要記著過氣老牌影星的一句話:

"You and me given opportunities only because young men are gone. But to turn our back on those opportunities, wouldn’t that be giving death dominion over life?"

不一定是 death，而是那些讓人最傷心最沮喪最痛的事，我們應該讓它們支配我們的人生嗎？

很有意思的電影，因為它讓我感受到，在最壞的時候，我們仍然應該懷著希望去繼續我們的人生，編寫美好時光。
